Ray Peck, Council 9 AFSCME retiree and former Montana state legislator, talks about the danger of privatizing Medicare. Peck joined AFSCME Council 9 Executive Director Don Kinman, Betty Beverly of the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare and other community leaders on July 13, 2007 to release a report compiled by the U.S.Action Education Fund showing that state taxpayers are subsidizing the insurance industry to the tune of $15 million a year.
