Election 2006: AFSCME Members Make the Difference

 
Illinois Council 31 member canvassing in 8th Congressional District for Tammy Duckworth.   No rain, no sleet, no cold, no snow will keep AFSCME from getting out the vote in Colorado.

AFSCME Pres. Gerald W. McEntee spoke at the event, saying, “We’re going to buy (Doyle’s GOP opponent) Mark Green a one way ticket out of town.”

GREEN MACHINE TURNS OUT – Wisconsin AFSCME members were front and center in Milwaukee at a Nov. 3 GOTV rally for Gov. Jim Doyle (D) and U.S. Sen. Herb Kohl (D). The keynote speaker, former President Bill Clinton, charged the Bush administration with “ignoring the realities and evident complications” of the war in Iraq.   AFSCME President Gerald W.
