Feasibility Study of Electronic Ratifications and Elections
WHEREAS: The cost of holding local union elections and contract ratification votes, especially for large state-wide locals like 1067, is often significant; and
WHEREAS: The process involved in holding these elections and ratification votes involves a significant amount of time, manpower, and other union resources.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the international union will study the feasibility of holding electronic ratification votes and elections and Local 1067 will serve a role in any test program.
