Bus provisions

 The contract states that the district pays $25,324 for 1994-95. This is used to pay for the leasing of 4 new vehicles. This works out to about $6,331 per bus per year for ten years. Four new buses a year are scheduled to be added for each year of the five year contract, at the end of which Talawanda will be leasing 32 buses at an average cost of $6,244 per year, per bus. The district has the option of purchasing the used buses for the yellow book price for the model, miles and year for a particular bus.
 The new contract states that the district pays $149,983 for 1999-2000. This pays for the leasing of 4 new vehicles in 1999-2000, plus the 20 new vehicles added during each year of the previous contract. This works out to about $6,200 per bus per year for ten years. New buses are scheduled to be added through 2001-2002, at which point Talawanda will be leasing 32 buses at an average cost of $6,244 per year, per bus. The district has the option of purchasing the used buses for their yellow book price.
 There is no significant difference between the two periods.
