It also gathers information on lost work time due to occupational illness. The data can be searched by industry, occupation, source of injury, and general demographic characteristics. BLS does not provide data on individual companies. It also helpfully provides documentation on How To Compute Your Firm’s Incidence Rate for Safety Management using the OSHA log (see below).OSHA Injury and Illness RecordkeepingThis site provides information on OSHA’s recordkeeping requirements and the OSHA Log of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses which employers are required to file for OSHA-reportable incidents. Bureau of Labor Statistics: State Occupational Injuries, Illnesses, and FatalitiesThis site provides PDF-format tables by state listing the incidents and illnesses by industry for that particular state. It also provides contact information for the individual responsible for keeping occupational safety and health data for that state. AFSCME Members Killed on the JobThis is a database of all known AFSCME member occupational fatalities.
