WHEREAS:

Sister Faye Krohn is leaving the International Executive Board and thus ending nearly 30 years of service to AFSCME's members; and

WHEREAS:

In addition to the wisdom and good counsel she has brought to all the posts she has held, from the Local 614 Executive Board to International Vice President for the North Central District, Sister Krohn has played a special role in opening leadership opportunities for women in the labor movement, and in the long and ongoing struggling to win for health care workers the dignity so often denied them;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:

That on behalf of the union's 1.3 million members the International Executive Board of AFSCME wishes Sister Krohn the greatest happiness and satisfaction in all the many years to come.
