Retirement of Larry Reinold

International Executive Board, 1992

WHEREAS:

After more than a quarter century of service to AFSCME and its members, Larry Reinold has taken a well-deserved retirement; and,

WHEREAS:

Larry Reinold was a member of the famous ASIP class that brought so many leaders to AFSCME from all over the nation; and,

WHEREAS:

For many years after the completion of his ASIP training Larry Reinold helped build AFSCME in Illinois, serving first in Council 34, after several years joining the International's organizing program, and finally directing the Illinois Legislative Office for the International; and,

WHEREAS:

For more than 15 years Larry Reinold served in positions of key responsibility at International headquarters, directing the PEOPLE operation for approximately half that time and coordinating affiliation activities as Deputy Director of Field Services until he retired.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT:

The International Executive Board salute Larry Reinold on his retirement for a career and a life of exemplary service and dedication; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT:

The International Executive Board wishes Larry Reinold the best of everything as he enters a new stage in his life. May his health continue excellent and may his happiness be complete.
