- AFSCME Radio Spot (1970s): Public Librarians During the 1970s, AFSCME created a series of radio spots that highlighted the wide range of jobs conducted by the union's members. Each spot features a different set of public employees, interviewing the workers about their jobs, and raising the listening public's awareness of the contribution these workers make. This spot focuses on public librarians.
