Nurses have performed life-saving work during the coronavirus pandemic despite often lacking the necessary equipment and other resources. To underscore the value of their work and to understand how their union has helped them better advocate for their patients and their communities, AFSCME Secretary-Treasurer Elissa McBride spoke this week with four AFSCME-represented nurses.
