On The Record: Consent of the Governed

When working people speak out and speak up, politicians have no choice but to listen. That’s how we defeated the effort to repeal and replace Obamacare. Now that Congress is in recess, we must continue holding them accountable. Elected representatives need to hold town hall meetings, and their constituents need to show up for them, making their voices heard. That’s democracy in action.
