AFSCME’s Saunders: With Sen. Warnock in Congress, ‘the future for working Georgians is bright’

ATLANTA  — AFSCME President Lee Saunders released the following statement after Sen. Raphael Warnock won the Georgia Senate runoff:

Warnock’s exemplary character and commitment to improving the lives of everyday families set him apart as the clear choice for Georgia voters. We know he will continue to be a force for justice and equity in the Senate, fighting to protect and expand workers’ rights and civil rights.
